Stripes.

This is one of my latest pieces of work for my photography course. My inspiration for this image was Antione D'Agata. He is a motion photographer who focuses on themes such as sex, drugs and mental state. At first this image was in colour but I decided to make it black and white because I believe it added more connotations to it. I want to take lots of portrait photographs and motion for my coursework because I believe it is what I am best at. I really like the contrast within this image. From the black and white, to Louise and the background. Personally this image has a lot of meanings. It reflects her mental state so it is not balanced. I like how you can see three faces within this image too rather than one big blurred on going right the way around. I have lots more photographs to come :)

Long time, no see!

Hey guys!
Lately I have been so busy with my college work and other stuff which is why I haven't posted like anything in the past few weeks. Basically my A2 coursework is coming along really well. I have developed a lot of my photographs and they are looking pretty good! Also last Friday (15/11/13) I went to Liverpool with college to visit the Tate Museum and we looked at the 'Art Turning Left Exhibition' which was really fun and useful. Whilst I was there I took a lot of digital photographs that I am rather proud of too! I will post them on here pretty soon (once I have edited them and what not). I will be buying my sketchbook soo too which means I can start to put everything together!

I have been looking at a few film camera's on the internet and I really like the look of the Miranda Camera's. They take excellent quality photographs and are really easy to use from what I have been told.

Also I have been looking at the Lomography Fisheye Camera. I just think they look really cool to use, fun and cute! I have always wanted a camera with a Fisheye lens or just a camera that takes only fisheye photographs. I would really like a lens or a camera to add to my collection.

I will post my latest work on here very soon!
Bye!:)

Should of known better.

Me being me I have decided to once again leave college work until last minute. I have to write my contextual study essay for my project and hand it in tomorrow. There is a lot of work to be done but hopefully it all works out in the end. But yesterday in college me and my friend Jenny started developing our film images and some of them are beginning to look really good! My project is almost like mini diary of me. So when i went to Manchester a few weeks ago I took my film camera out with me. I took photographs on the train, at the station, walking down the street, in a cafe and so many more. A huge part of my project is social documentary photography and it is a lot of fun to do! I believe it is one of the best types of photography because it is when you get to see people in their natural state rather than posing and fixing themselves to get a nice photograph. I will post some of my images that I developed on here soon :)
